"Messiah" Sing-Along - Walt Disney Concert Hall (Dec. 22)
Join the LA Master Chorale at Walt Disney Concert Hall on Monday, December 22, for the 45th Annual Messiah Sing-Along, where you will be part of the chorus for the show. Can’t get enough of singing? Stop by the Music Center’s Jerry Moss Plaza at 6pm for a holiday carol sing-along before the 7:30pm performance.
Arturo Sandoval - Walt Disney Concert Hall (Dec. 23)
Arturo Sandoval brings the swing to Walt Disney Concert Hall for a special night of holiday classics on Tuesday, December 23.
Public Access Christmas - Zebulon (Dec. 23)
Obscure Los Angeles presents Public Access Christmas, a screening of rare holiday clips pulled from curator Adam Papagan’s collection of public access television footage. There’s no cover for the 21+ event at Zebulon and the screening starts at 7pm. Tickets at Dice.
Pee-Wee’s Playhouse Christmas Special - The Alex (Dec. 27)
Saturday Morning Cartoons United and Nostalgic Nebula co-present a special screening of Pee-Wee’s Playhouse Christmas Special at The Alex on Saturday, December 27, with proceeds benefiting AnimAID, which assists animation professionals impacted by the California wildfires. Lance Rock hosts the event, which will also include a DJ set from Shepard Fairey, performance from Bob Baker Marionette Theatre and a post-screening concert with Tom Kenny & the Hi-Seas and special guests.

Merry Mex-Mas: El Vez and the Centuries - Lodge Room (Dec. 22)
El Vez joins forces with rockabilly outfit The Centuries for his current Merry Mex-Mas tour, which heads to Highland Park’s Lodge Room on Monday, December 22. Opening the show are Duderella and Santa Sabbath, the latter of whom recreates holiday tunes in the style of Black Sabbath.
Gaby Moreno - Zebulon (Dec. 23)
GRAMMY Award-winning singer-songwriter Gaby Moreno performs at Zebulon on Tuesday, December 23. Local DJ El Marchante will be on the decks throughout the night. Doors at 8pm, tickets at Dice.
Ann Magnuson - Zebulon (Dec. 28)
In 1995, Ann Magnuson released her first solo album, The Luv Show, which evolved into a stage show that she performed to acclaim in Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco. To celebrate the album’s 30th anniversary, Magnuson has reunited the original band members for a revival of The Luv Show at Zebulon on Sunday, December 28. Tickets at Dice.

L.A. County Holiday Celebration - Dorothy Chandler Pavilion (Dec. 24)
Celebrate the diversity of Los Angeles at Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on Christmas Eve with the 66th Annual L.A. County Holiday Celebration. The festive variety show is free to attend, but you must reserve a ticket. Registration opens on December 16 and this incredibly popular event, which also broadcasts on PBS SoCal, does sell out.

A Very Merry X-mas with RoRoll - Academy LA (Dec. 24)
LA-based RoRoll headlines Academy LA with an unnamed special guest on Christmas Eve. On board for support are Hua, CHZ:EZ and Rated X. The 21+ party is free with an RSVP. VIP table reservations are also available.
Chali 2na & Cut Chemist - Lodge Room (Dec. 26)
Rapper Chali 2na and DJ Cut Chemist, both beloved for their time in the influential hip-hop outfit Jurassic 5, head to Lodge Room on Friday, December 26.
Bass Blizzard - Catch One (Dec. 27)
Subculture takes over Catch One on Saturday, December 27, with a stacked lineup of DJs and drag performers playing across two floors. Doors open at 8:45pm for this 18+ end-of-the-year rager. Tickets at Dice.
Miguel Migs, Colette, Ricardo Torres - Jungle (Dec. 27)
Dance your way through the late afternoon and early evening at Jungle on Saturday, December 27. Miguel Migs, Colette and Ricardo Torres provide the house beats for the 21+ holiday event, which gets started at 4pm and ends at 9pm. Tickets at Eventbrite.
Goldcap - Sound (Dec. 27)
LA’s own Goldcap brings the deep house vibes to Sound on Saturday, December 27. This is the second in Sound’s series of four end-of-the-year bashes. If you want to go to all of them, consider getting the New Year’s at Sound Pass.

LA Kings vs. Columbus Blue Jackets - Crypto.com Arena (Dec. 22)
The Kings and the Columbus Blue Jackets face off at Crypto.com Arena on Monday, December 22. This is the first of three home games this week - they’re back on their home ice against the Seattle Kraken on Tuesday, December 23, and the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday, December 27.
LA Clippers vs. Houston Rockets - Intuit Dome (Dec. 23)
The Clippers play the first of two home games this week when they tip off against the Houston Rockets at Intuit Dome on Tuesday, December 23. For this holiday game, there is a snow globe giveaway for the first 10,000 fans. The Clippers will be back at Intuit Dome on Sunday, December 28 to play the Detroit Pistons.
LA Lakers vs. Houston Rockets - Crypto.com Arena (Dec. 25)
The Lakers head back to Crypto.com Arena on Christmas Day, where they’ll take on the Houston Rockets at 5pm. Catch them again on their home court on Sunday, December 28, when they play the Sacramento Kings.
LA Chargers vs. Houston Texans - SoFi Stadium (Dec. 27)
The Chargers are home for the holidays when they play the Houston Texans at SoFi Stadium on Saturday, December 27.

Stereophonic - The Pantages (Dec. 9, 2025 - Jan. 2, 2026)
Stereophonic, the Tony-winning play by David Adjimi with music from former Arcade Fire member Will Butler, opens for a month-long run at Hollywood’s Pantages Theatre on Tuesday, December 9. The nearly three-hour play is recommended for ages 13 and older and, in addition to evening performances, there are weekend and select weekday matinee performances through January 2.
